About Our People

Look Inside The Eye
Eydeabox Productions, LLC was founded in 2008 and is based out of Denver, Colorado. We are ourselves film makers and we are building tools that address some of the problems that we have seen and encountered in making films time and time again. Take a look at the people that are Eydeabox:
Daniel Schreiner

Daniel Schreiner is the Chief Executive Officer and original founder of Eydeabox Productions, LLC. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 2005 with an honors diploma and a talent for creative trouble making. Looking at what higher educations had to offer, he instead decided to just try and learn in a trial by fire method, and has learned a variety of design skills and programs this way. He has worked on several independent film projects, editing and shooting for Joel Comm's “The Next Internet Millionaire”, an online reality show, creating motion graphics effects for Ghengis Tron's “Things just aren't right”, a music video, and also worked closely with Klaus Holzapfel of moviebakery.com, creating commercials for clients worldwide. While networking with other film and video enthusiasts, Dan found it surprising that there was no online platform for people to work with each other on projects. Daniel approached Tanner Ferguson to start developing a website for filmmakers and creators alike, a place where people would actually finish their ideas in an easily accessible and digestible media. Soon afterward he approached Mike Sherwood to turn the website into a business and make Eydeabox Productions a reality. In addition to developing the original idea of Movie Communion, Daniel has also contributed greatly to the website's design elements and its future vision for development.

Tanner Ferguson

Tanner Ferguson is the Chief Technology Officer, and has a history of working with computers going back to 3rd grade helping with his father's home-run computer repair business. Tanner graduated from Mountain View High School in 2006 and during his junior year began to independently develop his skills in Web Design, contributing a great deal to the open source forum project XMB, serving first as a contributing member and then as the projects lead designer. While at Mountain View, Tanner also took part in the school's TV Broadcasting and Video Production programs, fostering his interest in film. After graduating, Daniel Schreiner approached him with the idea of a website for film makers, and Movie Communion was born. Since then, Tanner has worked as a freelance web designer, examples of his work can be found on his personal website anycolourweb.com, but he now focuses entirely on Movie Communion. Tanner is skilled with XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, and Drupal, and is continuing to improve his working knowledge of PHP & MySQL.

Mike Sherwood

Mike Sherwood is the Chief Business Officer of Eydeabox Productions, LLC. After graduating Mountain View High School in 2004 with a 3.8 GPA, he started Marcello's LLC, a Gelato production and wholesale business supplying many restaurants around Colorado, this eventually grew into a Gelateria in Denver, CO. Unfortunately, the Gelateria was forced to close in the Winter of 2009. The experience did offer a lot of real world practice in running a business from doing the books and filing taxes, meeting with lawyers and accountants, doing payroll, hiring and firing, scheduling, meeting with suppliers, winning new customers, running advertising campaigns, and turning the rare angry customer into a fervent supporter, there was even a brush in with a possible lawsuit over naming rights which Mike successfully defused before legal actions took place. Mike has handled the brunt of developing Eydeabox Productions, LLC as a business, including developing the company's business plan, formalizing its profit model, and providing the direction necessary to transform it from a passion project into a profitable business.
